5 Months Old?!

 
How did my baby get to be 5 months old?  She turned 4 months (obviously), but a blog post was not even a realistic goal at that time, let's face it.  I was too busy treading water and barely keeping my head above it.  But hey, 5 months! We made it!

Weight: a whopping 10lbs, 11 oz.
Height: 23 inches  
Nicknames: Lovebug, buggie, mollybear, sugar, sugiebun

Molly Alice had a very exciting month!  She was readmitted to CHKD for another (thankfully short) stay, but all ended well.  She amazes us so much with her resilience, and her contentedness in the face of so many challenges.  She is our little trooper.

 She had visits from her Auntirella, Aunty Sunnie, and Aunty Lin.  She also took her first big roadtrip to Charlottesville to visit Gram & Pop, and meet her great grandmother and namesake, Meme (more on that in my next post), and great grandfather, Dede.  She also met her great uncle Kirk.

We finally got to see Auntie Emily again (she came down for Molly's birth and met her in the NICU when Molly was one day old) and meet her new baby, Cora, who I'm sure will become a lifelong friend of Molly's. Like mothers, like daughters!  

I also got to take Molly to church at Cherry Avenue, my childhood church, where she met so many wonderful people who have been praying for her since she was "Cupcake" in my belly.  She didn't mind one bit being clucked over all weekend!
